General description
Eucalyptus dunnii reaches 30-45 m tall, originating in Australia, with erect and cylindrical trunk, smooth bark, grayish pink at the base, grayish green in the upper region, flaking in long plates, thin and curled. Open or rising shoot forming elongated and moderately dense crown. Alternate and opposite young leaves, petiolate, greenish gray, oval-orbicular; then alternating, lanceolate, dark green, colorless, thick and bright, 10-20 cm long by 2-3 cm long, in simple umbrellas with 3-8 flowers, flat peduncles, with white-stamen flowers cream. The fruits are dehiscent woody capsules, with low protruding valves, containing grayish-brown to black seeds.
